MAIN FEATURES

The BM 9400 changed the knife world forever when it was introduced at Blade Show in 2000. Designed by a rancher to be a hard user, this pocket knife is insanely popular for very good reasons. It's a comfortable everyday carry knife with a slim design, great ergonomics, and a lightweight build. The AXIS lock and reversible pocket clip make it usable for right- and left-handers. 
The 9400 manages to be a sophisticated folder while, at the same time, it's absolutely a cowboy knife. Our customers say it seems to fit every grip, no matter how big or small their hands are. 

 

High-quality steel
The knife head is made of American CPM-S30V stainless steel with a satin finish. This steel has high impact and abrasion resistance, as well as excellent cutting performance. The blade is coated with a layer of black Teflon, which protects the blade from minor scratches.
The knife liner is made of anodized aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, which is connected to the steel liner, ensuring the rigidity and strength of the structure. In addition to strength and fine processing capabilities, one of the main advantages of aluminum is its light weight, which inevitably leads to comfort in carrying and using the knife.

Practical knife head
The wide blade has a tactical reverse tanto profile with a matte satin finish (polished) that perfectly harmonizes with the titanium finish. The knife penetrates easily and has excellent cutting performance.
The thickness of the blade at its widest point is 3 mm, which is a compromise between durability and functionality of the knife in daily work.

Instant deployment
The main advantages of automatic knives are the quick deployment system and instant work readiness. In an automatic knife, deploying the blade requires only the pressing of a button, which is responsible for releasing the lock and activating the internal spring.
The knife uses an additional locking mechanism that prevents accidental pressing of the activation button and folding of the blade. The slider for the second safety mechanism is located on the back of the handle. The profiled handle is wider at the bottom, making the knife comfortable to hold and preventing the hand from slipping on the blade while working.
It is recommended to be extremely careful and cautious when using automatic knives.

Convertible Clip
The standard recessed clip can be mounted on both sides of the handle, allowing you to discreetly carry the knife in your pocket.
The folding knife requires another button press and manual retraction of the blade. This feature makes the "Automatic" very popular among soldiers, uniformed military personnel and EDC enthusiasts.
